* Whew. . .after a ministry-rich-July with Life 2010 and LCF VBS, we'll catch our breath in August with 2 faith family fellowship events:
* Weds, Aug. 11th = LCF day @ Pirates Cove water park
* Sat, Aug. 21st = LCF nite @ the races/Colorado Nat'l Speedway

* And then, September means amped up/ramped up LCF ministry in full swing for all ages:
* Christian Ed Hour resumes on Sun/Sept. 12th, 9:30 a.m.
* Live Like You Were Dying/Philippians 1:21 church experience leaves the dock on Sun/Sept 12th, 9:30 & 10:40 a.m.
* LCF GriefShare.org season #3 launches on Mon/Sept. 13th, 6:45 p.m.
* LCF faith family potluck & Creation Club launches on Weds, Sept. 15th, 6:30 & 7:00 p.m.

* We must have five (5) adults signed up/on to launch LCF Leadership Academy. Signup deadline is Sun/Aug. 15th.

* Time's running out to signup on the Lobby table for the LCF day @ Air Force vs. Navy football on Sat/Oct. 2nd.

* Wow. . .LCF VBS goal was 40 children. . .62 attended by week's end!

* LCF's August Memory Verse = 1 Corinthians 13:13.

* Please drop by the Sanctuary back table for ideas for donations for the Robertson's "stocking their shelves." They arrive on Weds, Aug. 18th, with Lowrie's 1st Sunday as Worship Team Coordinator being Aug. 22nd. For more details contact Jan Adams.

* August means some very intensive and enlightening messages in our 1 Corinthians preaching series. We're trekkin' ch. 14 with "Talkin' Tongues" and "Women Worship."

* HeavenFest this Sat/July 31st means a home built that very day to be shipped to Juarez, Mexico and given to a needy family. . . chainsaw ice sculpturing. . .reunion concerts by the OC Supertones and Petra. . .lake baptisms. . .over 35,000 people praising Jesus' Name (the largest evangelical Christian gathering in CO in over a decade).
Carpools leave the LCF parking lot this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. sharp!

* This fall's adult Christian Education will be excellent:
* Live Like You Were Dying
* The Faith/apologetics/defense of the Christian faith with Chuck Colson

* We fell short of LCF's July budgeted financial needs by $2,400.00.

* A church in Green Mountain enjoyed the overflow of LCF VBS. . .they inherited LCF's awesome Sanctuary ship set for their High Seas Expedition.

* Whoa. . .a 1st-time LCF Sunday Cel Serv guest completed a 2010 Thrive Plan bulletin insert! (July 25th)

* Because LCF will be offering such excellent Sunday morn Christian education, our Jr & Sr Highers will enjoy a combo class, with top-notch studies: Drive Thru History: America, and Forgotten God by Francis Chan.

* In the past 9 months LCF's Jr & Sr Highers have gone deep in Mark 10:45 and Philippians 2:5 by serving in COMPA's gleaning fields, at Mapleton Manor nursing home, The Denver Rescue Mission (twice!), and Alternatives Pregnancy Center.

And this coming Oct. 31st they'll be directly serving our neighborhood with "Trunk or Treat." More details to come.
