Rev. Jeff Pies (Pastor Jeff!) is a husband (wife Leigh) and father of two (Jordan, age 16; Ashleigh, age 11). A "military brat" (Jeff's Dad was career Air Force), Jeff has a kinship with military people, and his older brother is an Army Chaplain. Jeff thoroughly enjoys most sports, and loves to ski in Colorado's high country.
Jeff is probably the most avid San Antonio Spurs fan you'll ever meet.
Jeff is a graduate of St. Paul Bible College (BA in History) and Denver Seminary (Master of Divinity). Currently he serves on The MidAmerica District (of The Christian & Missionary Alliance) Licensing & Ordination Committee, ensuring Pastors are committed to the teaching of the Bible.
Jeff is passionate about the teaching of Scripture in context, and you'll find him doing this on Sunday mornings (expository preaching thru entire Bible books) and Wednesday evenings (The Leadership Academy, guiding learners through the gospel of Matthew).
Jeff and Leigh are also involved in an LCF home group on Sunday nights, a Meals For Six group, and they thoroughly enjoy inviting every LCF guest/visitor into their home for a Welcome Dessert.
Jeff has faithfully served LCF since 1987, and he is thoroughly committed to the long-term health of this local Church.
